TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Croweaters website (croweaters.com) and your engagement with any of Croweaters' five divisions: The Observatory, The Sanctuary, The Integration, The Institute, and The Reliquary. By engaging Croweaters' services, booking a meeting, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

2. Definitions

"Croweaters," "we," "us," "our" refers to the business operating under this name (previously trading as H4LFL1GHT). "You," "client," "user" refers to any individual or organisation engaging our services or using this website.

3. Our Services

Croweaters operates across five divisions, each with distinct terms of engagement as set out below and in each division's individual service agreement:

  • The Observatory: behavioural intelligence consultancy and advisory services
  • The Sanctuary: Employee Assistance Programme services
  • The Integration: psychotherapy and counselling services
  • The Institute: research, education, and Founding Patron membership
  • The Reliquary: not a client-facing service; no terms of engagement apply

Specific pricing, scope, and deliverables for each division are set out on the relevant division page and/or in a separate engagement letter or contract issued prior to commencement of work.

4. Eligibility

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 or over, or organisations acting through an authorised representative aged 18 or over. The Integration's psychotherapy services are provided to adults only, in line with our current scope of practice.

5. Booking, Cancellation, and Rescheduling

Meetings and sessions booked through this website or directly with Croweaters are subject to the cancellation policy communicated at the time of booking. For Integration (psychotherapy) sessions specifically, we require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session without charge; sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.

6. Payment Terms

Fees for each division are set out on the relevant division page and are subject to change with reasonable notice. Payment is due in accordance with the terms agreed at the point of engagement (e.g. per-session, monthly retainer, or Direct Debit for Institute Founding Patron membership). Late payment may result in suspension of services until outstanding fees are settled.

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information necessary for us to deliver our services, to engage with our services in good faith, and to notify us promptly of any change in circumstances relevant to the services being provided.

8. Clinical and Professional Services - Additional Terms

The following additional terms apply specifically to Integration (psychotherapy) and any clinical casework delivered through the Observatory:

  • Engagement with these services constitutes informed consent to the therapeutic or professional process being undertaken, which will be explained in full prior to commencement.
  • You may withdraw from psychotherapy services at any time; we encourage discussing this decision with your practitioner where possible.
  • Confidentiality is maintained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable professional body guidelines (BACP/UKCP), save for circumstances where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent serious harm to yourself or others (safeguarding disclosure).
  • Croweaters practitioners operate within the scope of their training and professional accreditation; services do not constitute emergency or crisis intervention. In a mental health emergency, contact emergency services (999) or the Samaritans (116 123).

9. Confidentiality and Data

Our collection, use, and storage of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at croweaters.com/privacy-policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, research, frameworks, branding, and design, is the property of Croweaters unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Croweaters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or website. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Croweaters against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our services.

13. Termination

Croweaters reserves the right to suspend or terminate services to any client in cases of non-payment, misconduct, or breach of these Terms, with reasonable notice provided where practicable.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date of the most recent update will be shown at the top of this page. Continued use of our services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your engagement with Croweaters shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
